Josh Brilliante – Como [PLAYED]

On loan from Fiorentina, Brilliante is playing for struggling Serie B side Como who fell to a 2-1 defeat against table-toppers Livorno. Admittedly they are only two games into the season, however, it is not an ideal start by any means. The Australian midfielder was substituted just before the hour mark before the team was reduced to 10 men, after Andrea Marconi conceded a penalty and was subsequently dismissed.

Mark Milligan – Baniyas [FULL GAME]

In the Middle East, the former Victory midfielder returned from national team duty and played a full game as his side defeated Dibba Al Fujairah 3-0 in their second domestic outing. Milligan is impressing with his fitness after playing both games for the Socceroos over the previous weekend.

Tim Cahill – Shanghai Shenua [GOAL]

You really do not need updates on Cahill anymore, truthfully the reasonable assumption is that he scored and we should more surprised when he is unable to hit the target. Cahill scored on the stroke of halftime to help his side record a 2-1 win, their first game in three weeks.
