Franco Vazquez (Bologna vs Palermo)
The Italian international’s partnership with Paulo Dybala was the reason to watch Palermo last season, however, it seems Vazquez has struggled to get back to his prominent best for the Rosanero. That was all to change against Bologna.
In a match largely dominated by the home side, Vazquez was a shining light for the visiting side, involved in the beginning of almost every attacking play Palermo had. This was capped-off with an early winner against the run of play, calmly slotting the ball past the experienced Antonio Mirante from six-yards.
