Liverpool mishap Mario Balotelli has reportedly attracted interest from newly-promoted Premier League club Watford, in a move that would be sure to raise eyebrows in England.
Sky Italia is reporting that Watford’s Italian owner Giampaolo Pozzo is keen to sign Balotelli, and that the club is ready to match Serie A club Sampdoria’s offer of £10million.
Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia says that despite speculation linking him with a move back to Italy, Balotelli wants to stay in England and is drawing interest from Premier League new boys Watford.
David Amoyal, who manages Di Marzio’s English feed on Twitter, tweeted the following.

Watford have a strong Italian influence from owner Pozzo to the first-team squad, and on Monday added Balotelli’s one-time international teammate Alessandro Diamanti.
Balotelli seems to have no future at Liverpool after not being included in their first two Premier League matches, and ordered to train in isolation by manager Brendan Rogers.

It is understood he has held talks with Watford about a potential move.
