The international break is finally over! Manchester City and Liverpool headline another engrossing weekend of Premier League football, as a heavy run of fixtures awaits the two top-flight heavyweights.

It’s going to be a very difficult game for the Reds, who are experiencing a horrid injury crisis. With 10 players out, key members Mamadou Sakho and Jordan Henderson in particular, Klopp will have to work around this and try to mastermind another credible result on the road. However, Jordon Ibe and James Milner could come back just in time for this game, but that’s still not confirmed as of yet.

The best that Liverpool can hope for is that Sergio Aguero and David Silva are not deemed fit enough to play. From a betting perspective, their odds are not looking good with UK-licensed bookie TonyBet is giving Man City 31/50, while Liverpool only got 22/5.

Can Klopp‘s magic really carry the squad through this test? It‘s a long shot, considering Liverpool have lost four and drawn two in their past six matches away to City.

Another interesting game is going to be Tottenham against West Ham United. The latter have been a persistent terror of the top teams, managing to secure wins away to Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and take the scalp of Chelsea at home. Their upcoming opponents are in fifth and starting to gel, with star striker Harry Kane returning to his best form. According to TonyBet this could prove a tricky affair for the visitors, with Tottenham‘s odds at 53/100 for the win and the Irons 26/5 to take all three points.

Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea all appear to have an easy week ahead of them on paper, with matches against West Brom, Watford, and Norwich City respectively. It’s the Blues that especially need a win though, and if they don‘t shape up, they may very well be fighting against relegation, with top four hopes hanging in the balance.

All in all, this Premier League season has been very interesting so far as surprise packets Leicester City sit in third. West Ham continued to defy the odds in sixth position, while the aforementioned Chelsea in 16th has shocked everyone in world football. The break is over, enjoy the football and remember to gamble responsibly if you’re putting on a wager this weekend.
