Manchester City players were pushed to the limit in last night’s memeorable 2-1 derby win over neighbours United.

An exquisite display of Pep Guardiola’s trademark possession-based football saw the Sky Blues claim the first bragging rights of 2016-17 over Jose Mourinho, thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Their efforts were not the only thing left on the Old Trafford pitch, however, with an Instagram post from substitute goalkeeper Willy Caballero revealing that Aleksandar Kolarov had lost a tooth during the game.

“In this picture with one of my warriors,” Caballero praised the defender.

“Can you find the only thing He lost today?”

The incident is rumoured to have occurred during a clash with United’s Marouane Fellaini during the match.

Manchester City now have a three point gap at the top of the Premier League table.
