Juventus recorded an impressive 2-1 win over Tottenham in front of 31,447 spectators at the MCG, with first half goals to Paulo Dybala and Mehdi Benatia proving too much for the North Londoners.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino rung the changes at the break, and substitute Erik Lamela gave his side hope with a well taken goal in the 67th minute but it was a mere consolation effort.

Another excelllent chance. Harrison couldn’t keep it down. Lovely footwork from Winks though, he looked very good when subbed in #ICCJUVTOT

2-1! Wanyama steals the ball in midfield and Lamela scores with a really clinical finish. What a good finisher he has become! #COYS

31k isn’t a bad crowd but it looks so small at the G. Should have been held at Etihad or AAMI park #ICCJUVTOT

Very nice build up. Lamela centrally has caused a lot of problems. Really like him in this role #ICCJUVTOT

Second half was a much better performance from our lads. No disgrace in the end. #ICCJUVTOT #COYS #THFC

Great finish by Lamela. He’s like Walcott in the sense that every year is his year to push on- usually an anticlimax. #ICCJUVTOT #ICC

I know they have to “promote and sell” shirts, but kind of annoying that Spurs and Juventus both play in away kits. #ICCJUVTOT #ICCMelb

Too many spurs players with bleached hair.
Rule 1 of football: you can only dye your hair if you’re the best player at the club #ICCJUVTOT

Surprising how empty the MCG looks tonight for the #ICCJUVTOT game, must be something better to do in Melbourne on a Tuesday night

#ICCJUVTOT Mason and Carroll done nicely. We’ve basically conceded from two mistakes. Nothing to get ancy about, genuine preseason friendly
