A brace from Son Heung-min saw Tottenham heap further early season misery upon the Potters with a 4-0 win at the Britannia.
The pressure was evident on the home side and especially manager Mark Hughes, who was sent to the stands after his heated discussions with the referee over a yellow card show to Marko Arnautovic.
Minutes later Son opened the scoring for the Spurs before the half-time break, then added his second through a powerful strike just before the hour-mark.
With the confidence taken out of their opponents, Harry Kane and Dele Alli were able to open their respective 2016-17 accounts to seal a commanding scoreline for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Two brilliant opening goals by Son to help get the win over Stoke today. Perhaps he didn’t like that transfer chatter… #STKTOT #COYS

With the wonderful class of midfielders in their good squad, it’s confusing how @stokecity are losing by conceding 4 again#STKTOT

ARNALTAVIC’s haircut is very much as ridiculous as Paul Sharner when we shipped 9 against Wigan. #COYS #STKTOT

Spurs win 4-0, Kane scores his 50th, Eriksen back in some form and Sissoko makes his debut. That makes me one happy guy. #COYS #STKTOT

Fantastic game that was a good performance all around, a debut for Sissoko and @HKane got a goal the most important #STKTOT #ComeOnYouSpurs

Tottenham gloating about their two 4-0 wins in Stoke this year. Personally think it’s embarrassing they didn’t win both by 8 #STKTOT #SCFC
