Last week’s result only a minor setback for the Foxes
When looking at the Foxes’ first defeat of the season at the hands of the Gunners – a 5-2 drubbing at home – one might have feared that it could signal the end of the dream run experienced since the end of last season.
Instead, it was business as usual against the Canaries and if anything, the Foxes played as well, if not better, than they have in recent weeks, often conceding early leads.
It was always going to be a test of the mindset of players and the manager following such a heavy defeat, as there may have been the temptation to play a little safer, particularly away from home. But, what many love about the Foxes is their reckless ambition and it was a great sign to see them retain the sense of self-belief that has served them so well to date.
