Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of Cardiff fullback Fabio on a two-year deal. The 26-year-old will add further experience to Boro’s squad ahead of the new season having played for a number of clubs in England, including Manchester United.

Bertrand Traore has signed a new contract with Chelsea, on the same day he has been sent on loan to Dutch giants Ajax. The striker made his first-team debut in the early stages of 2015-16 before scoring his first senior goal in the FA Cup against MK Dons.

Manchester United have confirmed a loan move for youngster Adnan Januzaj, who burst onto the scene in David Moyes’ short lived coaching stint at the club. The Belgian international has failed to find regular first-team opportunities since the departure of Moyes’ and will be hoping for more chances under his former manager at Sunderland this season.

Joe Hart’s future at Manchester City still hangs in the balance just hours away from the kick-off of the new Premier League season. The Express is reporting Pep Guardiola is set to pick Willy Caballero for the Sky Blues’ opening match, as he continues to source out a deal for Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Cesc Fabregas could be on the way out of Stamford Bridge this summer according to Italian publication Tuttosport. The Blues have offered Serie A champions Juventus the chance to sign the Spanish international, who struggled to find consistent form last season.

Fabregas may not be the only Premier League based player that Juventus are interested in suggests the Daily Telegraph. The British media outlet is speculating the Old Lady and Inter Milan could battle it out to secure the services of Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, who is in a contract dispute with his current club speculates the Mirror.

It appears that Middlesbrough may not yet be done in the transfer market if reports from the Daily Mail are to be believed. Boro are said to have contacted Manchester United over a possible loan move for young Brazilian midfielder Andreas Pereira.
