Cesc Fabregas has put a quick end to any rumours of discontent at Stamford Bridge.
Amid reports of a fight with manager Antonio Conte after being told he could leave Chelsea, the Spaniard used Facebook to assure fans that he remains committed to the Blues.
“The manager and I have a good relationship,” wrote Fabregas.
“He has never told me that I can leave…he said that he counts on me, as I count on him.
“I will continue to fight for this club until the very end and when called upon I will always give my very best.
Fabregas’ future in London previously appeared to be in doubt – having to watch on from the bench as Chelsea recorded a 3-0 home win against Burnley on the weekend and only playing a cameo role in the games against West Ham and Watford.
Wide speculation among the British media yesterday claimed that Conte had no place for the 29-year-old in his starting XI and would be open to selling him before this week’s transfer deadline.
