Adelaide United has revealed their new home kit for the upcoming A-League season.

Exclusively manufactured for the team by new partner Macron, a classy design exemplifies both the Reds’ double trophy winning season and the qualities of South Australia.

An all red shirt will remain the trademark of United, however, bands of yellow and blue feature on the sleeves and socks to encompass the other colours synonymous with the state’s sporting teams.

The major new addition is a champions’ badge placed parallel on the right-hand side of the shirt, signifying their maiden A-League title win in 2015-16.

This is the first time in the competition’s history that the badge will appear on the reigning champions’ kit, with the silver star also deservedly above their club crest. The date of establishment, September 12th, 2003, is stitched into the back of the collar

The new kits come from Macron’s designers in Italy and are made with their Performance System Fabric and 2016-17 will mark the first year of Adelaide’s partnership with the manufacturer.

Guillermo Amor’s team begin their season with an away clash against the Newcastle Jets.
