Central Coast Mariners

Paul Izzo – 4.5: Will feel as though he could have done better to keep out Fornaroli’s effort.

Storm Roux – 5.5: Kept his flank mostly safe and tried to get forward.

Jake McGing – 4.5: He and Ascroft fell asleep and allowed Fornaroli an easy finish.

Harry Ascroft – 4.5: Too loose to easily allow Williams and Fornaroli a path to goal.

Michael Neill – 5: Made some positive runs down the left while having Kuzmanovski and then Williams to think about in the opposite direction. Lost the latter as he set up Fornaroli.

Anthony Caceres – 5: Shut down quickly whenever he picked up possession.

Nick Montgomery – 4: Seemed to struggle to keep up with the pace of the match and his booking reflected that. Subbed out after an hour.

Nick Fitzgerald – 7: Sent home a rifling strike from outside the area only a minute after Kisnorbo’s opener. Influence faded as the match wore on.

Fabio Ferreira – 6: Often switched flanks with Austin. Constantly looked to get on the ball but had no real impact.

Roy O’Donovan – 5.5: Forced a smart save from Sorensen early in the second half but mostly fed off scraps.

Mitch Austin – 6.5: Rattled the crossbar as the Mariners went in search of an equaliser. Was the more effective wide man.

Substitutes

Liam Rose – N/A: Had little impact.

Glen Trifiro – N/A: Like Rose, did not change the momentum.

Dan Heffernan – N/A: Came on too late to make an impact.

during the round three A-League match between Melbourne City FC and the Central Coast Mariners at AAMI Park on October 25, 2015 in Melbourne, Australia.
