Arsene Wenger has masterminded an impressive turnaround to secure Arsenal a passage through to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The Gunners’ 3-0 away victory against Olympiakos was full of discipline, commitment and class.
Arsenal took the lead just before the half-hour mark through a fine Olivier Giroud header, following superb wing play from Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey.
Minutes after the half time interval and the visitors had their precious two-goal margin thanks to incisive work from Joel Campbell, setting up Giroud for the simple task of finishing from close range.
And on 67 minutes it was game over when Giroud converted from the spot to complete his hat-trick and confirm Arsenal’s passage to the Round of 16.
Here is some of the best reaction from Twitter:
If there’s a silver lining to all the injuries is that Campbell established himself as a reliable alternative up front for us #afc

Man, I missed these days… When Ramsey was just that guy who went about his business, cleaning up the middle of the park. Good days. #Afc — Skinny Duncan (@A_Young_Padawan) December 9, 2015

I really hope Oxlade-Chamberlain is watching and learning from Campbell’s work rate defensively and end products offensively #Arsenal #Afc — Poet’s Mind (@emperormfon) December 9, 2015
Don’t want to take the gloss of this but our last 16 opponents will be Barca, Real, Athletico Madrid, Wolfsburg or Zenit. #AFC #Arsenal

Arsenal fans shouldn’t be getting happy about the situation. They should have qualified out of that group with no trouble #afc
