Leandro Bacuna – 6: Looked uncomfortable at left-back but made it through.
Joleon Lescott – 7.5: Led the side with Micah Richards out. Did well to score and kept things tight at the back.
Jores Okore – 6.5: After a long absence he struggled early but looked more comfortable as the match wore on.

Carlos Sánchez – 7: Typically sloppy on the ball at times but immense defensive influence.
Jordan Veretout – 7: A little more creative with the ball than his midfield partners.
Jordan Ayew – 6.5: Exciting on the ball as always but not really able to find too much separation.
Rudy Gestede – 5: Very much a passenger in the forward line.
Scott Sinclair – 6: Absent in any threatening attacking play.

Ashley Westwood – 6: Missed a chance to win it late for the visitors. Substituted on for Gestede in the 75th minute.
Kieran Richardson – 6: Did what was needed defensively. Substituted on for Bacuna in the 78th minute.
