Adelaide United remain winless after three matches losing 3-1 to Perth Glory at nib Stadium on Sunday.

Sidnei Sciola broke the offside trap and the deadlock on 44 minutes, latching on to Gyorgy Sandor’s sublime pass, giving the hosts the advantage. The second half was identical to the first as the South Australians dominated possession, but were ruthlessly punished on the counter-attack.

Substitute Guyon Fernandez emphatically doubled the Glory’s lead 15 minutes after the restart before Diego Castro added another on 72 minutes. An own goal from Diogo Ferreira moments later failed to spark a United comeback, proving inconsequential as the home side recorded its first win of the campaign.
