Could Real Madrid starlet and highly underrated attacking midfielder Isco be on his way to Manchester City to play in the English Premier League?

It has been reported that Real Madrid have whacked a £30m price-tag on their young Spaniard, who has started nine games of a possible 18 this season for Los Blancos, including being left on the bench for the entirety of Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw with Valencia at the weekend.

Only two days ago, Isco reportedly approached Real to sanction a move to City after falling out of favour with Rafa Benitez, but the state of play has changed with the Spaniard tactician sacked overnight and replaced by Zinedine Zidane.

The Mirror says Zidane was the man who convinced Isco to snub City in 2013 and rates him highly, which changes the landscape immensely.

City tried to sign Isco when he joined Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013 and Manuel Pellegrini, who managed him there, remains a big admirer.

Juventus has also been vying for the 23-year-old’s signature for years, and also Chelsea has reportedly entered the race.
