Fernando Torres and Diego Godin have been included as part of a strong Atletico Madrid squad en-route to Australia for the International Champions Cup.

Their first match will be played this Friday at 20:00 local time against Tottenham Hotspur, the third and final game as part of the International Champions Cup. The second game will be played on Sunday, 31st July, at 14:00 local time in Geelong against local team Melbourne Victory.

The main notable absentee is French star Antoine Griezmann, who after leading his country to the final of Euro 2016, has been given extra leave by the club. Also missing is Belgium star Yannick Carrasco and Spanish duo, Juanfran and Koke.

Included however is former Liverpool fan favourite Fernando Torres, captain Gabi and arguably the best defender in the world, Diego Godin.
