Graham Arnold is set to complete his attacking wishlist with Brazilian Bobo signing for the Sky Blues ahead of the 2016-17 A-League season.

Reports from the Sydney Morning Herald indicate that the deal has been completed for the 31-year-old hitman, who is believed to have arrived in Sydney already for a medical examination that was completed yesterday.

Having played previously in the Brazilian and Turkish top-flights, Bobo recorded over 200 apppearances and 92 goals over five years for Besiktas, and will join former teammate Filip Holosko as marquee players for Graham Arnold.

Making his intentions clear to spend big on his team’s attack after last season’s disappointing campaign, Arnold had spent a long time looking at different options, but is said to have had eyes on Bobo for a long time.

Fans will hope that this news is soon followed by the re-signing of Alex Brosque to the club as the final marquee player, after the former captain is fully recovered from a hamstring injury.

Sydney FC is expected to make an official announcement on Bobo’s arrival tomorrow.
