The gang had the pleasure of speaking to Socceroos and Adelaide United star Tarek Elrich on the Daily Football Show, ahead of Friday morning’s World Cup qualifier against Jordan.
Live from Jordan, Elrich is preparing for his third cap for the national team since making his debut last season, and is set to feature in Ange Postecoglou’s starting lineup.

Jordan presents a tricky task for the Socceroos who are facing their first real challenge on the road to Russia 2018 so far, and Elrich said that they wouldn’t be taking the home team lightly.
Australia sit atop of Group B with a 100% record – scoring 10 goals and conceding just once in three games.
An extra incentive for the Jordanians is that should they manage to take all three points against the Socceroos, they have the chance to leap-frog Australia into top spot (Australia is on nine points, Jordan seven).
However, Elrich and the rest of the Socceroos will be doing everything in their power to ensure that does not happen.
