The Nerazzurri prevailed against the old enemy in the latest installment of the Derby della Madonnina, claiming all three points in a 1-0 victory
It was yet another tight and cagey Milan derby, with Fredy Guarín providing the single moment of inspiration needed for his side with a sublime finessed strike from the edge of the box just before the hour mark, helping Inter down the Rossoneri 1-0.
Siniša Mihajlovic’s side looked the part early on, cutting open Inter’s defence on numerous occasions within the opening exchanges of the match, though were unable to find the back of the net, with Luiz Adriano coming closest to putting Milan ahead within three minutes of the game’s commencement.
The second half saw Roberto Mancini’s men play themselves into the match, and eventually found a way past Diego Lopéz, as Colombian midfielder Guarín tucked a magnificent effort into Lopéz’s bottom right corner.

Despite a late red and black wave of pressure, Inter held onto all three points, sending them atop of the Serie A table with nine points from a possible nine, with Milan slumping to 12th on just three points and one win from three.
