Juventus

Gianluigi Buffon – 6: Made a couple of saves. Nothing he could do about the first goal, but would be disappointed with getting a hand on the second and not keeping it out.

Simone Padoin – 6.5: Had a fairly solid game for a losing team. Used the ball well in possession.

Leonardo Bonucci – 6: Played fairly well. For the first goal he got drawn to the ball carrier when he didn’t have to and then was too far away to cover the pass.

Giorgio Chiellini – 6.5: Was at fault for neither of the two goals and had a number of successful attempts of clearing the line.

Patrice Evra – 5.5: Had plenty of clearances however was pretty much unseen otherwise and is lucky to be still starting over Sandro.

Roberto Pereyra – 7: Had a pretty good game and was one of their better performers, although he didn’t play a massive part in their goal.

Mario Lemina – 7.5: Scored the team’s lone goal with a well-finished attempt at the near post. Had a solid game.

Paul Pogba – 5.5: Nowhere near his best game. He had his moments but was not very visible throughout the game.

Hernanes – 5: Subbed off after 64 minutes when the score was 2-1. Wasn’t very noticeable throughout his time on the pitch.

Simone Zaza – 6.5: Although not heavily involved in the match, what he did, he did well. Was always causing some problems to the Napoli defence.

Paulo Dybala – 6.5: Although playing solidly and getting the assist for the goal, he had few other moments in the match to make anything happen.

Substitutes

Juan Cuadrado – 5.5: Came on after all the goals had been scored and had very little influence on the game with few opportunities with the ball.

Alvaro Morata – 5: Returned to the team off the bench and had limited impact with the 20 minutes on the pitch.

Alex Sandro – N/A: Came on with next to no time left in the match and had no impact with the lack of opportunity.

The loss was Juve’s third in six games in Serie A
