Roma came from behind to beat Udinese 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in a win that all but secures their place in the Champions League next season.

Stipe Perica scored his first Serie A goal to give Udinese the lead midway through the first-half after a mistake from Roma defender Konstantinos Manolas. On the stroke of half-time though Roma levelled with a Radja Nainggolan strike which was brilliantly set up by captain Francesco Totti.

The Giallorossi got their winner through Vasilios Torosidis after Udinese were unable to clear their lines in the 65th minute.

Roma

Morgan De Sanctis – 6.5: He was unlucky to concede early on and did well when called upon after that.

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa – 7: One of his better performances for Roma, solid at the back and looked lively going forward.

Vasilios Torosidis – 7.5: Impressed throughout the game with his crosses before scoring Roma’s winner with 25 minutes left to play

Konstantinos Manolas – 5.5: At fault for Udinese’s goal and looked shaky afterwards.

Radja Nainggolan – 7.5: Brilliant as ever. Scored Roma’s equaliser and produced a good all round midfield performance.

Miralem Pjanic – 6.5: Not at his best but produced moments of class that created opportunities for Roma’s front line.

Daniele De Rossi – 7.5: Fantastic in the tackle and started many Roma attacks in his deep position in midfield.

Juan Manuel Iturbe – 7.5: A much improved performances from previous weeks. Was willingly to attack Udinese’s defense and held the ball up well.

Francesco Totti – 8: Not at his best in the first-half but made up for it with the two assists for Roma’s goals and proved what he still has to offer.

Victor Ibarbo – 6: Was inconsistent throughout and never looked like troubling Udinese. The Giallorossi’s worst player.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu – 6: Another Udinese man who underperformed. He was unable to compete against the excellent De Rossi and Nainggolan.
