Perth Glory claimed their first win of the A-League season with a 3-1 scalp of Adelaide United at nib Stadium earlier tonight.
After a drab opening stage Sidnei’s goal on the stroke of halftime gave the hosts the lead, despite Adelaide controlling the possession with ease.
The visitors continued to dictate play in the second-half and started out on the front-foot, only for Perth to twice hit them on the break and hammer home strikes from new signings Guyon Fernandez and Diego Castro.
An own goal from Diogo Ferreira was the only dark spot on a bright day for the Glory, who were ecstatic to get off the mark this season.
