Aston Villa have signed Mile Jedinak on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder played over 150 matches for Crystal Palace in five years at the club.

A critical part of the side’s promotion to the Championship after they defeated Watford in the 2013 Championship play-off final to reach the Premier League.

The Socceroos skipper has struggled to gain a regular starting spot ever since Alan Pardew arrived at the club in January 2015.

Jedinak is still waiting to complete his registration with the FA and the English Football League until he’s able to make his debut for his new club.

The 34-year-old will join fellow Socceroos Aaron Mooy, Bailey Wright, Jackson Irvine and Jason Davidson who all ply their trade in the second tier of English football.
