Louis van Gaal is a man under intense pressure after an explosive press conference earlier today where he blasted the entire media contingent.

The beleaguered Manchester United boss is without a win in six matches, who oversaw the side’s embarrassing exit from the Champions League and suffered back-to-back losses away to newly promoted Bournemouth and Norwich City at home.

The 64-year-old Dutchman is clearly feeling the wrath and wave of media speculation about his fragile job security.

Van Gaal began by saying, “Has anybody in this room felt like apologising to me?” after false accusations spread around Twitter claiming he was sacked in the past 24 hours.

“Do you think I want to talk with the media now?” Van Gaal asked.

“I’m here only because of the Premier League rules.”

There are rumours that he has just two games left to change the fortunes of the team and save his Old Trafford career. Those two games in question are tricky assignments away to Stoke City and hosting an unpredictable Chelsea outfit.
