Brisbane Roar have announced that goalkeeper Jamie Young has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.

This season, Young began as the Roar’s number one gloveman with Theo still injured, though has had to fight for his position since the ex-Victory keeper’s return to the fold.

Young says that the decision to re-sign with the Roar was a “no-brainer” and believes the competition for selection is bringing out the best in both goalkeepers.
