Perth Glory have subjected Central Coast Mariners to a 4-0 defeat at nib Stadium in an embarrassingly poor performance from the visitors.
The Mariners finished the match with nine men after both Mitch Austin and Luis Garcia recieved two yellow cards and were sent off.
Perth got off to the perfect start, long before they had the numerical advantage, with Tomi Uskok fouling Chris Harold in the box earning a penalty; Diego Catsro converted from the spot.
The second half saw majority of the action with the Mariners going down to 10 in the opening five minutes of the half with Austin’s sending off.
Andy Keogh doubled the home side’s advantage and Josh Risdon provided his first assist of the night in the 53rd minute. The Socceroo’s stunning cross found the head of the Irishman who put it past Paul Izzo.
Central Coast were then down to nine with Garcia earning his second yellow just a minute after his side conceded.
The Glory added a third through the penalty spot after a Nick Montogomery foul on Risdon; this time Keogh stepped up to the spot and converted for his second of the night.
Perth had their fourth and final goal with the final play of the game. Keogh released Risdon with the captain crossing it back to the far post from the byline for Chris Harold to head home.
The Mariners stay rooted to the bottom of the table while the Glory rise above Melbourne Victory into fifth.

Most red cards per game:
0.36 Morwell 1998/99 (10 reds / 28 games)

Ahhh I get it.
For each goal Perth score, Central Coast will reciprocate with a red card.
Understood.#PERvCCM

The erosion of the Mariners club culture is one of the more impressive/dire feats in A-League history #PERvCCM

@CCMariners how can you ask the fans for their support and give us this in return….really??? Nowhere near A-League standard #PERvCCM

Only Perth Glory collected more reds in a single season (10 in 2010/11) than Mariners have now. Still, plenty of games left to beat that…

#PERvCCM come on, give them a break. One bad season in 10 years. It's not the end of the world.

Insipid and shameful
A once proud football team reduced to being a park side.
I am truly embarrassed @CCMariners

I am not sure what else can be said about the Mariners this season that we haven't already. I feel awful for the fans, it's just not right.
