Chelsea have reportedly paid £32 million to secure the services of the 29-year-old central defender.
In 2014, the Brazilian international departed Stamford Bridge for PSG in a £50 million deal that made him the most expensive defender of all-time.
His previous stint at Chelsea saw him make 81 appearances, playing a key role in the club’s 2012 Champions League triumph. After making the move to PSG, he was a regular figure of the team which claimed the treble in successive seasons, appearing on 56 occasions.

Off the back of a stellar campaign in the French capital, Luiz was a shock inclusion in the FIFPro World XI at the 2014 Ballon D’or ceremony.
David Luiz and fellow deadline day signing Marcos Alonso will be welcomed by Antonio Conte, who had made clear his intentions to bolster the London side’s defensive stocks.
The centre-back could feature for Chelsea in their trip to face Swansea City on September 11 after the international break.
