Marko Arnautovic was involved in three of Stoke City’s four goals as Mark Hughes’ men continued their impressive run of form against Everton at Goodison Park.

The Austrian has proved to be a big-game player for Stoke, netting goals against Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, while adding Everton to that list with his stoppage-time winner from the penalty spot.

Arnautovic was the provider for the opening goal as he nutmegged Funes-Mori with a deft pass that found Xherdan Shaqiri who gave Stoke City the lead.

Shaqiri was equally influential as he restored Stoke City’s lead just before half time following Romelu Lukaku’s equaliser.

The Potters found themselves behind when Lukaku added a second and Gerard Deulofeu put Everton in front on 71 minutes.

However, Everton’s lead only lasted nine minutes as Arnautovic’s ferocious cross was parried by Tim Howard and into the path of Joselu who finished with aplomb.

Arnautovic would have one final impact on the game when he was awarded a dubious penalty by referee Mark Clattenberg in stoppage-time.

The Austrian converted the resulting spot-kick to send Stoke fans into delirium as the Potters recorded an epic 4-3 win at Goodison Park.

The win lifts Mark Hughes’ men into the top half and only six points away from the top four in this ever-changing and exciting Premier League season.

Shaqiri was brilliant, but Arnautovic has claimed Outisde 90’s Hero of the Week award for Matchay 19.
