Crystal Palace have continued their good run against Liverpool, scoring late on to secure a 2-1 win on a wet night at Anfield.

The Eagles found the initial breakthrough in the 20th minute through Yannick Bolasie. Emre Can inadequately dealt with a Wilfried Zaha cross, basically playing the ball into the feet of the striker, who blasted the ball past Simon Mignolet.

After a period of dominance in the game Liverpool were able to hit back. Nathaniel Clyne played a ball across the box that was touched on by Adam Lallana and found Philippe Coutinho, who placed the ball past Wayne Hennessey in the 42nd minute.

Scott Dann scored the winner in the 82nd minute after a strong game in defence. The Englishman was picked-out from a corner and while his header on target was parried by Mignolet, Dann followed up to put it back past the Liverpool goalkeeper.

This sees Klopp’s unbeaten start come to an end and it only gets more difficult from here, facing Manchester City at the Etihad when they return from the international break, while Palace return to Selhurst Park with a game against Sunderland.
