Liverpool are closing in on youngster Ante Coric according to reports from Metro. The Dynamo Zagreb midfielder is set to have a medical with the Reds in the next 48 hours, electing to make the move to Merseyside over Manchester City due to the first-team opportunities on offer.

Top-flight champions Leicester City could go head-to-head with Serie A giants Juventus to secure the services of Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi. The Daily Mail claims that both clubs are willing to meet the £25 million release clause of the Frenchman.

Three Premier League sides are set to battle it out for the loan deal of Southampton winger Jay Rodriguez. NBC Sports rumours that West Brom, Sunderland and Hull City are all hopeful of signing the player before this week’s transfer deadline.

Hull are still yet to sign a player this window, however, that could all change if the Daily Telegraph is to be believed. The Tigers are prepared to sign Bristol City striker Jonathan Kodjia, for a club record transfer fee of around £14 million.

Everton midfielder James McCarthy may find a new home in the coming days speculates the Daily Mail. The 25-year-old is said to have told club officials that he wishes to leave Goodison Park in search of more regular first-team football.

The Black Cats have had a £7 million offer accepted for Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra according to the Sunderland Echo. The 28-year-old is keen on the move, with David Moyes looking to add to his squad before the end of the transfer window.

Tottenham’s Nacer Chadli is reportedly set for a loan to West Brom says Sky Sports. The winger appears to be far from the plans of Mauricio Pochettino this season, failing to have even made the bench in any of Spurs’ opening three Premier League matches.
