Chelsea remain highly interested in bringing Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge, but the Daily Mirror reports they have seen an initial £57 million bid rejected. If the Belgian international is any chance of leaving Goodison Park, then the Blues will need to pay a fee of around £75 million.

Another player who could be set to leave Everton this summer is defender John Stones, who continues to be linked with a move to Manchester City. Rumours in the Guardian say the Sky Blues are not willing to match the Toffees’ £50 million asking price, and are more willing to pay around £40 million for the England international.

Ronald Koeman is interested in signing Swansea City skipper Ashley Williams as a possible replacement for Stones, suggests to the Daily Mirror. A bid of around £10 million is being lined up for the defender and could be enough into tempting the Swans into a sale.

Sunderland defender Lamine Kone is another name being linked with a move to Merseyside this summer. According to the Sunderland Echo the Toffees have not made a £14 million bid for the 27-year-old, despite other media outlets claiming an opening offer has been made.

Yet another transfer window brings the question of whether or not Saido Berahino will leave West Brom. ESPN are rumouring that the striker is willing to wait until next summer when his contract expires, in order to join a club competing in Europe.

West Ham United have had a £7 million offer rejected for highly-rated Hull City left-back Andrew Robertson. Sky Sports reports the Hammers are keen on the 22-year-old, following a long-term injury to first choice left-back Aaron Creswell.
