Australia’s emerging star Aaron Mooy was a shining light for Huddersfield Town this morning in the side’s 2-0 loss against Premier League giants Liverpool.
The Socceroos midfielder showed some classy touches, his defence splitting passing range and proved he can match it physically in the English game.
In just his second pre-season friendly for the club, Mooy put together another promising performance after an impressive first outing in the Terriers’ 2-0 victory against Oldham Athletic.
There’s been a multitude of conjecture surrounding his move to Manchester City, and subsequent season-long loan to Huddersfield, however it appears like a move which could be the perfect stepping stone for his future.
It may be early days, but the club’s supporters are already warming to the 25-year-old, with some even claiming he’s a ‘class above’ any of his teammates – high praise indeed.
