Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimović has always been a player willing to speak his mind and say some of the stranger things.

In a recent interview with French TV network SFR Sport, Zlatan admitted there was only one thing that he missed about his time with Ligue 1 champions PSG.

“I miss my last salary from Paris, that is what I miss,” said a laughing Ibrahimović.

It had been reported that the retired Swedish international’s wages currently sit at £260,000 per week at Old Trafford, £30,000 less than his deal at Paris.

Ibrahimovic linked up with the Red Devils in the early stages of the recent transfer window following the expiration of his contract in France.

During his four years with PSG, the 34-year-old enjoyed great domestic success as the club claimed four-straight Ligue 1 titles.

The Swede called for his former team to have patience in their quest to conquer Europe.

“The team is very strong, they bought some good players and the philosophy is the same – win everything and push for the Champions League,” said Ibrahimovic.

“But if you could snap your fingers and win the Champions League, everyone would win it.

“That’s not the way it works. You need to work hard, take time and have patience, then things come by themselves.

“That’s another problem, and it’s not my problem. I have my own problems.”
