So, this tweet didn’t go down particularly well.
West Ham United’s official Twitter account wrote “Illuminati confirmed”, matching each letter of the club’s name to players currently on the books.

We can only imagine the tweet was meant to be funny and the club expected it to be treated as such, but the Twitter world certainly did not see it that way.
