Whether he was Man of the Match is up for debate, but regardless, Tom Rogic received more plaudits from impressed Celtic fans.

The Socceroo consolidated an impressive week that included another national team callup as well as a Champions League goal, scored in the Bhoys’ 5-2 win over Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

Rogic started and finished the 90 minutes as the reigning Scottish champions dispatched St Johnstone thanks to goals from Scott Sinclair, Leigh Griffiths, Ryan Christie and James Forrest. He played a key role in attack, and his efforts included a classy outside-of-the-boot pass which allowed Sinclair to score.
