Despite the fact there were no rockstar signings this A-League offseason, football is still growing and developing vastly down under.

Football fans across Australia will be excited with the amount of talent shifting across the land and from abroad.

Who should we be excited about the most this coming A-League season?

  1. Corey Gameiro (Sydney FC to Melbourne City)

Many fans wondered why Gameiro decided to leave a team which only just fell short of winning the premiership. Shattered with a knee injury which he picked up playing for the Olyroos, Gameiro had a disruptive 2014-15 season but now he looks to bounce back with a fresh start with Melbourne City. A big season is expected from the 22-year-old who managed to play 21 games, scoring four goals last season. The highly touted striker may still be out of commission for City’s clash against his former club, but once full fitness is regained, he may start banging them in regularly.
