Outside90’s Joshua Scarcella breaks down the ten major talking points to come out of the weekend’s Serie A action.

Udinese for relegation

Antonio Di Natale’s 11th season with the Bianconeri may end in disaster if their form continues. The club only narrowly avoided relegation last season and despite starting the 2015-16 season with a huge win against Juventus, it has been a poor showing thus far.

This has been followed by three losses against Palermo at home, Lazio away and most recently Empoli at home after leading 1-0 at half time. The club legend Di Natale cannot possibly continue saving the club year after year, and it is time they find a way back to winning ways before it is too late.

Udinese continue to struggle

Milan’s midfield on fire

The Rossoneri may have finally found a midfield combination to take them back to the top of the table. Giacomo Bonaventura headed an outstanding midfield performance with Riccardo Montolivo, Juraj Kucka and Keisuke Honda with only Kucka having less than a 90% passing success rate. Bonaventura also got his name on the scoresheet with an outstanding free kick.

Although managing two goals, Palermo were camped in their own half for the majority of the match due to the pressure from Milan’s midfield.
