Western Sydney Wanderers defender Scott Jamieson has pleaded for the FFA to resolve the current fan crisis which has gripped the A-League, amidst a meeting between the governing body’s superiors and all 10 active supporter groups tonight.

Speaking on the Daily Football Show, Jamieson said that he’d hate to see Pirtek Stadium without the Red and Black Bloc for the second week in a row on Saturday night, in what will arguably be the biggest match of the season to date against Melbourne Victory.

“We sometimes forget how important these active support groups are,” he said.

“I’d hate to see another game this weekend not have the spice or atmosphere that no other code or game in this country can bring.”

“It’s a plea to the FFA also, not just the fans.”

Whether the match will be boycotted again this weekend hinges on the outcome of tonight’s meeting between the FFA and the fans.
