Superstar agent Mino Raiola says Paul Pogba has the potential to become the best player in the world at Manchester United.
The Red Devils capped off a monumental transfer window with the midfielder’s return to Old Trafford, although it took a world record £89 million fee to secure his signature.
Despite the large fee Raiola himself would have garnered from the deal, he insists that the happiness of his client is the top priority.
“The important thing is that the player is happy. For me the transfer fee is not important,” Raiola said in an interview with Cadena COPE:
“Football players at this level are not sold, players at this level are purchased.
“A very beautiful picture is not sold, the owner never wants to sell it, but people buy them.
“Pogba, in his position, is the best player in the world, and has the potential to be number one overall.
“But what’s important is that the player is where he wants to be.”
The Frenchman will look to solidify his return to the Premier League in this weekend’s Manchester derby.
