New signings Nicolas Colazo and Tim Cahill were both on target as City claimed a 2-0 win over their visitors at their annual Family Day, held at Bundoora headquarters City Football Academy (CFA).
City have enjoyed mixed results throughout the preseason, winning friendlies against Northern Fury and now Auckland as well as cup success against Western Sydney, but were humbled convincingly by Newcastle Jets 4-0 and Wellington Phoenix 4-1.
