Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has been slammed by French World Cup winners Christophe Dugarry and Emmanuel Petit after his latest Snapchat outburst.

Sakho utilised social media to voice his criticism of manager Jurgen Klopp in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Having not played a minute with the first team this season, the defender’s career at Liverpool looks to be coming to a sour end.

His fellow countrymen Duggarry and Petit believe that the 26-year-old has conducted himself in a completely wrong manner.

“He doesn’t need to talk to his fans, he needs to talk to his coach,” Dugarry explained to SFR Sport.

“What is he doing talking to his fans at three in the morning? With emojis and all that?

“We don’t give a s***. We’re not at the circus. If you have a problem, go talk to your coach, find a solution, solve the problem.”

Petit was similarly critical of the defender.

“It’s a shame. I think it’s another outburst from him, and it could be fatal,” he said.

Sakho has experienced a torrid last six months. His drug charge, which was disproved by UEFA, ruled him out for the latter stages of Liverpool’s Europa League campaign, and a potential home Euro 2016 with France.

Injury and disciplinary issues plagued his preseason, where he was sent home from America after repeatedly breaking club conduct.

Late in the transfer window, Jurgen Klopp recommended that the centre-back should spend some time on loan to re-establish himself, however, Sakho was adamant that he would stay and fight for his place.
