Liverpool registered its second straight win at Stamford Bridge with a 2-1 win against Chelsea.

The Reds could not be contained from the outset, completely bossing the game in the opening 45 with goals to Dejan Lovren and a world-class strike from Jordan Henderson.

Chelsea pegged one back through the in-form Diego Costa, but Jurgen Klopp’s men got the job done at the Bridge again, handing Antonio Conte his first loss as Blues manager.

Liverpool’s skipper, Henderson, was delighted with the three points and getting himself on the scoresheet with is sumptuous 25-yard thunderbolt.

“I took a good touch out of my feet then just tried to bend it in the far corner and thankfully it went in. He’s a world-class keeper but it’s about time I got a goal!” Henderson told Sky Sports.

“It’s a big victory, it keeps our momentum going.

“We’ve been brilliant the last few weeks and in training we’ve been brilliant all week, so I had a good feeling going into the game [and] we produced.”

Liverpool currently sit fourth on 10 points and face Hull City at home next Saturday in the Premier League.
