West Ham United defeated Liverpool for a third time this season, after Angelo Ogbonna’s last-gasp header in the final minute of extra time in their FA Cup fourth round replay.
The visitors dominated the opening half-an-hour before West Ham grew into the game and took the lead with a superbly worked move.
Moments before half-time Enner Valencia weaved his way through Liverpool’s defensive rearguard and curled in an well weighted ball to the back post for Michail Antonio to volley home with aplomb.
Liverpool responded in the best possible fashion just three minutes after the break when Philippe Coutinho deceived Hammers goalkeeper Darren Randolph by cleverly striking the ball under the wall from a free-kick.

How the press reacted to Leicester City’s stunning win against Manchester City
In an end-to-end affair for the remainder of the second half neither side could find a decisive breakthrough as the game headed into extra-time.
Liverpool carved out numerous opportunities to claim a lead, but they were made to pay when Ogbonna rose highest to plant a wonderful header past a despairing Simon Mignolet.
West Ham will now travel to Blackburn Rovers in the fifth round, while the Reds’ season of woe continues.

Very decent from Ogbonna to run straight to Payet, who had delivered the perfect ball into the area. You don’t see that too often. #WHULIV
