Barcelona have demolished a sorry Celtic 7-0 in a Champions League rout at the Nou Camp.
Lionel Messi opened the scoring with a powerful shot across the goalkeeper into the far corner, after Neymar released him with a clever pass.
On 25 minutes Moussa Dembele spurned a chance to put Celtic level from the penalty spot before wonderful interplay between the deadly duo of Neymar and Messi ended with the Argentinean stroking into an empty net.
Neymar added a third goal with a curling free-kick from 20 yards to all but effectively kill the game off.
Veteran Andres Iniesta scored his first goal in 36 Champions League games with a scintillating volley into the roof of the net from 16 yards.
And just a minute later Luis Suarez weaved his way to the byline to set Messi up for his hat-trick goal and the former then got in on the act with a sublime volleyed goal from close range and tap in on 88 minutes to complete the rout on a night to forget for Celtic.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter:
Barca are a class act. Celtic not in their league. But, ever onwards! #Celtic

Bottom line is that we should never have gotten wide with them in 2013, they've actually never forgiven us 😔 #celtic #barca 🍀

We were never expected to win this game. Barca in reality are light years ahead of Celtic. At least we are playing in Champs League #celtic

Upgrading my ‘hammered’ prediction for #Celtic to ‘annihilated’.

#Barcelona 6-0 up!!! …although it should be 2-0. #Suarez should have been banned for life and #Messi should be in jail for tax fraud

Does that mean #Barca would win 12-1 if it were #Rangers at the Nou Camp tonight? Amazing the difference between Scotland and Europe #Celtic
