Adelaide United and Sydney FC have shared the spoils in a topsy-turvy contest at Hindmarsh Stadium on Friday night.
In a crazy first half, the Reds took the lead after only two minutes as Seb Ryall misjudged a through ball from Stefan Mauk. His attempted clearance smashed of Sergio Cirio’s legs and rebounded in.
Matt Simon equalised on 37 minutes, only for the Reds to again take the lead on half time – dropping it once more a matter of moments later.

Plenty of the online discussion surrounded THAT opening stanza, as well as an incident between Simon and Iacopo La Rocca off the ball.
Of course, the return to sky blue colours of one David Carney did not go amiss.
