Goal of the Week – Picklesaw’s passing prowess

This week marks the third instalment of our Goal of the Week, and it might just be our best week yet. Thirty-yard volleys, miracle dribbles, deft chips. The contenders for this week’s crown was a stunning showcase of variety and skill.

This week’s goal is our first to come from a non-Pro Clubs game mode, and what a goal it was. Picklesaw demonstrates remarkable ability to keep the ball moving in tight spaces as he decimates the defensive structure of his opponent with some quick one-touch passing.

The clip starts off fairly innocuously with Pepe exchanging passes with Dani Carvajal on the right flank, but the tempo quickens as he finds Toni Kroos, who in turn quickly pivots on the spot before hitting Karim Benzema with a pass to his feet.

With no time to react Benzema plays a quick succession of one-twos with Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo before slotting it past the on-rushing Claudio Bravo with his left foot into the corner.

Twelve seconds. Twelve passes. One goal.

It would crime not to mention the other goals scored this week, and boy were there some stunners.
