Fresh off the re-signing of Andy Keogh, Perth Glory CEO Peter Filopoulos spoke exclusively to the Daily Football Show.

The club announced the re-signing of the Irishman for two seasons today at a press conference in Perth, who left the club after last season’s salary cap controversy.

Keogh’s contract effectively commences in January 2016 but the club already has it’s five visa spots full.

Filopoulos told the Daily Football Show we might be seeing the 29-year-old on the pitch sooner than expected.

“We haven’t given up hope that Andy may be able to play for the club at some point this season.”

Filopoulos said the club was delighted to lure the Keogh back home to Perth, who scored 12 goals in his first stint for the club last season.

“We’re delighted that Andy Keogh has signed for the Perth Glory Football Club for the next two seasons,” he said.

“We did not want to wait until the end of the season and risk losing him to another club.”
