During Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Swansea City on Sunday, media pundit Gary Lineker offered his observation on polarising Spanish striker, Diego Costa.
The former Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and England striker wrote on social media platform, Twitter: “Shouldn’t really admit this considering some of his antics, but I do enjoy watching Costa. He’s bloody hilarious!”
“No in-between with Diego Costa. He’s either brilliant or bonkers” the 55-year-old then tweeted.

Costa is set to enjoy his best season in London to date, having netted four times in four Premier League outings this campaign, as Chelsea sit second on the table on 10 points, only behind City, who have a perfect 12.
The 27-year-old made his Premier League switch after a hugely successful spell with Atletico Madrid under Diego Simeone – a manager who was able to channel Costa’s on-field aggression, something that has landed him in hot water throughout his career, into goals.
In the lead up to the tie with Swansea, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte urged the striker to do the same thing, which was a plea that paid off with the striker finding the net twice to secure an away draw.
