Bournemouth and Watford played out an entertaining draw at the Vitality Stadium last night, ultimately each taking a share of the spoils in a 1-1 stalemate.
The hosts took the lead in the first-half through a Glenn Murray header and dominated 44 minutes of the opening period, playing with good pace and quality.
On the stroke of halftime however, custodian Artur Boruc handed Watford forward Odion Ighalo a straightforward equaliser with a woefully misplaced pass.
Each side forced the opposition goalkeeper into saves in the latter stages, notably Glenn Murray’s late penalty miss, but neither could break the deadlock and splitting the points was probably a fair outcome.
